Watsonville Community Hospital 

Please report to registration area of the hospital at the arrival given. 

We require that you be accompanied home from the Endoscopy Unit by a friend or relative upon discharge

If you are scheduled for the morning, DO NOT have anything to eat or drink after midnight before the test

One week prior to the procedure:

Discontinue taking Aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications.  This DOES NOT apply to Tylenol or Prednisone

Iron pills must be stopped 3 days prior to your procedure

Inform us if you are taking Insulin

For cancellations call 662-9999, please give us at least 48 hours notice



Please report to registration area of the hospital at the arrival given. 

Do not eat any solid food at least 6 hours prior to the test.

Do not have liquids at lest 4 hours prior to test.

You must not take a shower 24 hours while you are being tested.

Medications to be held:

Hold for 1 Week: Prilosec, Prevacid, Aciphex, Protonix, and Nexium

Hold for 24-48 Hours: H2-Blockers, Prokinetics

Hold for 6 hours: Antacids
